Terry and Karen Acree have lived and been in buisness in the West Volusia
(DeLand) area for a combined total of 80 years! Terry was born in DeLand
and Karen moved to the area in 1977.   Some of their 7 children and 16
grandchildren live in the area as well.

Mr. Terry Acree, owner of Sonny Shine Auto Wash in Orange City, Florida, is pleased
to announce the reopening of this newly renovated car wash.  
This state of the art wash features two automatics and four bays of self-services.  The
most truly innovative feature of this wash, however, is that Mr. Acree has installed the
Rowafil biological reclaim system, manufactured in The Netherlands.  The reclaim
system cleans and recycles 2000 gallons of wash water per hour. The reclaim system
is entirely dependent on the natural bacteria action of Mother Nature to consume the
wax, soaps, grease and oils removed from the vehicles. Patented liquid enzymes are
fed into the wash water to speed the cleaning process.
Mr. Cary Wise, the General Manager for Rowafil in the United States, says that the
Acree installation is the largest system in Florida using this type of cutting edge,
patented technology. Mr. Wise said, "Mr. Acree's understanding and belief in this type
of biological reclaim allows for this wash to save hundreds of thousands of gallons of
fresh water, while also protecting the environment, since no soapy, oily, or dirty water
is discharged at all!"
